Back in the Game

by AWFC Insider

Wenatchee, Washington - Hook Sports Media LLC. has hired Keith Evans to coach the pro Indoor Football League team this upcoming season.  Coach Evans was with the Wenatchee Venom of the American Indoor Football Association in 2009 that also played at the Town Toyota Center.  The Venom fired Evans partway through the 2010 season after the team had lost five straight games. The team had a 2-5 record under Evans. Although Evans was not given the opportunity to get things turned around with the Venom, he will bring quite a bit of experience with the indoor game back to Wenatchee.

After leaving Wenatchee, Coach Evans was hired by the new expansion team, the Kent Predators in 2010.  Evans coached the Predators to a 5-9 record.

He has also worked as an assistant coach with the Tri-Cities Fever when it belonged to the Arena Football 2 league and the Alaska Wild  in 2007.

2015 - Florida Marine Raiders (5-3) - X-League (League Runner-up)

2012 - Ontario Warrior (7-0) - AIFA

2011 - Kent Predators (5-9) - IFL

2010 - Wenatchee Valley Venom (2-5) AIFA

2008 - Tri-Cities Fever - AF2 - Assistant

Coach Evans is excited to come back to Wenatchee and prove that he can bring a Championship to the valley
