Horsemen's Undefeated Streak Ends at 16

Redmond Oregon - This weekend the Idaho Horsemen suffered our first loss in the team's history to the Oregon High Desert Storm 44-40.    The team started off as normal going down to score on the first possession taking the lead. 7-0.  The Storm matched their first drive to tie the game. 7-7.  The Horsemen went on to go up by 2 touchdowns late into the 2nd quarter After an injury to QB Hayden Wright and RB Hunter Belzo, the tides turned as the Storm was able to score multiple times and eventually kicking a Field Goal to take the lead going into halftime (25-24)

As the Horsemen attempted to figure out who would lead the team due to both backup QB's were out this game due to injuries as well.  The Storm took a lead of 44-24.  Late into the 4th quarter, the Horsemen battled back scoring 16 unanswered points to get the game to 44-40.  The score remained this after a failed onside attempt.  The Horsemen win streak end at 16 in a row (16-1) and  (3-1) on the season.   The next game is this Saturday, June 12th at the Ford Idaho Center versus the Yakima Canines.
