NAMPA, IDAHO - July 3, 2023 - The Idaho Horsemen, known for their outstanding performance throughout the season, triumphed over the Oregon High Desert Storm in a thrilling showdown during The American West Bowl IV. The championship game, held at the Ford Idaho Center, showcased the Horsemen's dominance in the American West Football Conference (AWFC).

The final score stood at 42-20, with the Horsemen emerging as the victors in this epic clash of football powerhouses. Although the Storm took the lead initially after an unusual turnover on downs by the Horsemen, the halftime score favored the Horsemen at 20-14. Following a halftime adjustment, the Horsemen returned to the field as a transformed team, outscoring the Storm 22-6 in the second half.

The Horsemen's ability to put away the Storm and claim their second AWFC Championship demonstrated their adaptability and determination. Despite a comparatively low-scoring game for the Horsemen, who averaged over 70 points per game this season, they found a way to secure victory and solidify their place as champions.
