NEW LEAGUE COMMISSIONER ANNOUNCED

Nampa ID - The American West Football Conference (AWFC) announced today that the seat of Commissioner will now be occupied by former Co-General Manager/ asst. Coach of the Reno Express, Brandon Berner.  CEO/President of the AWFC, Chris Reynolds made the decision to appoint Brandon to this leadership role after Mr. Don Miller made the decision that he would need to step down and spend more time with his current business during these trying times of COVID-19.  Don will stay on board with the league as a Senior Advisor and  Marketing consultant.  Don has been a tremendous asset in getting the AWFC off the ground and completing a successful freshman season.

Brandon currently lives in "The Biggest Little City in the World", Reno, Nevada with his two kids Rylan and Madyson. Brandon has coached for over 15 years at many different levels.  The daily grind and experience with the Reno Express have proven to league President Chris Reynolds and the other associated team owners that Brandon is the right man for the job.  Brandon's focus will be building the AWFC brand by partnering with regional and national corporations, hold each team to account, explore, and vet expansion opportunities to help take the AWFC to the next level.

The league is excited to see what Brandon will bring to the AWFC in his new position. Brandon becomes the 2nd commissioner in AWFC history.
