RUSH WIN SEASON OPENER 72-32 OVER THE SKYHAWKS

Pasco, WA - the Tri-City Rush Professional Indoor Football Organization won their season opener against the Wenatchee Valley Skyhawks 72-32.

It has been a long road to get here but the training has definitely paid off. The Rush scored early and never looked back on there dominant victory over the Skyhawks. Leading the way was Quarterback Les Obie with 5 Touchdown passes three of them to star receiver Dashun Salgado Jr and the other two going to Manual Flore and Antoinne Wafer.

Not to be out done in the running game, Keithon Flemming notched 3 touchdowns and Marco Garcia had one. The defense held up there end notching 6 sacks and 3 interceptions with one of them returned for a touchdown by linebacker AJ Smiley.

Tyler Merkel was all over the turf in the return game, returning one kickoff for a touchdown and have several others returned inside the Skyhawks 20 yard line.

The Rush will now Travel to Yakima to face the Canines in their first ever away game. The Rush will be back at home on 6/12 so make sure you get your season tickets today.
