Blaine Bond To Lead National Talent Search Campaign

  The club has appointed New Director of Football Scouting Blaine Bond to lead the campaign of finding the best players in the country and bringing them to the Wenatchee Valley. Mr. Bond brings a hard work effort and leadership to a group of scouts committed to finding the best players available to build a championship team here in the Wenatchee Valley.  

Bond brings nearly 20 years of professional and minor league football experience to the Skyhawks staff. Including over 10 seasons of coaching experience compiling an overall record of 38-12 as a head coach.  The former coach has also held other major rolls in professional football in the past. He was named Head Coach of the Stars Football League’s New Orleans Jazz Professional Football Club in 2011. Also he spent time as the Vice President of League Affairs for the Professional Development Football League. 

I’m very excited about the opportunity to put my fingerprints on this franchise and begin the process of building a championship team.  The people of Wenatchee Valley deserve the best, they deserve a champion and that what we’re going to give them. I look forward to leading the search for the best available players looking for an opportunity in pro football”  

The Wenatchee Valley Skyhawks open their second season in the American West Football Conference in March 2020.
