THE HORSEMEN PROVE THEIR STILL TOP DOG IN THE AWFC

by AWFC Insider

Nampa ID -  After the build-up to this match-up between the Idaho Horsemen and the Tri-City Rush, the Horsemen prove that they're still the top dog in the American West Football Conference.  The Horsemen went into the game with their 4th starting quarterback of the year Giovanni Sanders and he did not disappoint leading the Horsemen to a 35-7 point lead going into half-time.   In the second half, the Rush started to get it together and put points on the board on multiple touchdown strikes by QB Les Obie.  But as the Rush would score, the Horsemen would continue to put points up on the board holding off the (4-1) Rush.  The final in the 1st of 3 matchup Horsemen 61, Rush 48.

The two teams will meet again in Pasco, Washington on July 31st and August 14th.  The Idaho Horsemen solidifies the #1 spot and moves to (6-1) on the season as the Tri-City Rush falls to (4-2).

The Horsemen will host the San Antonio Valor in a non-league match on July 10th at the Ford Idaho Center.  It's time to see how the Horsemen stacks up against teams from other leagues.
