THE HORSEMEN RUN AWAY WITH ANOTHER VICTORY, TAKING DOWN THE STORM 70-49

NAMPA, ID - This past weekend's arena football game between the Idaho Horsemen and the Oregon High Desert Storm was one for the books. The Horsemen were able to beat the Storm 70-42, continuing their impressive 5-1 record this season.

From the start, the Horsemen were dominating the field, going up 14-0 with two touchdowns from quarterback Austin Schaffer to wide receiver Calvin Lowe. The game only got more exciting from there, with kick returns from Nick Cade and Kyler Henson resulting in touchdowns, and kicker Braydon Ary making history by kicking the first ever "Duece" for the Horsemen.  

Quarterback Austin Schaffer had an impressive game, going 16 for 26 for 282 yards and 8 touchdowns. Receiving stats from Calvin Lowe 5 catches for 70 yards, 3 tds, Kyler Henson 4 catches for 98 yards 2 tds, Justin Clarkston 2 catches for 31 yards,  Ryan Stokes 2 Catches for 68 yards 1 td, Cal McQueary 1 catch for 7 yards 1 td, Brady Walling 1 catch for 8 yards 1 td were also noteworthy, contributing to the Horsemen's success on the field.

Defensively, the Horsemen were led by Ab Logan (1), Nick Cade (1), Jack Domen (2)   with multiple interceptions during the match up. The Horsemen's impressive performance on both sides of the field secured their victory over the Storms, who moved to 1-1 for the season.

The Horsemen's win this weekend also sets them up for their upcoming game against the Las Vegas Kings this Saturday, May 20th at 7pm at the Ford Idaho Center. With this being their last regular season home game, the Horsemen are hoping to go undefeated at home once again.
