The Tri-City Rush are "Back 2 Back" AWFC Champions

Pasco, WA - The Tri-City Rush are the 2022 American West Football Champions!!!    They are the "ONLY" team in the AWFC's short history to go Back 2 Back as Champions!  Congratulations!!!!! The Rush has put themselves in the record books for becoming the second organization in the AWFC history to finish the season undefeated at (10-0) from start to finish. This is something that is hard to accomplish at any level and the boys in Tri-City earned it!!! In only 2 years, the Rush has an impressive record of (19-2) and is still undefeated at the Hapo Center (Pasco, WA).  With their rowdy, supportive fans the Hapo Center is a hard place to play!   

Last night's match-up was quite entertaining for an AWFC finale.  The Wenatchee Valley Skyhawks showed why they should have been in the Championship game by making a game of it.  In the final 3 minutes, the Skyhawks were only down by 10 points.  But with an interception on a 2-point conversion returned for a touchdown, the Rush was able to extend the lead to 12 and eventually finished off the Skyhawks  57-32 in the final minutes giving them their 2nd consecutive AWFC Championship!
